General ME FAQ

Page history last edited by Habulin 11 years, 9 months ago

Q: I see other people spawn health packs, green adrenaline pills, and ammo canisters. How do I do that myself?

A: The spawning of health packs is through the Paladin's Class's Medkit (ME) ability. The spawning of green adrenaline pills are from the Support's Energy Transfer (ME) ability, and the spawning of ammo canisters is from the Support's Ammo Dump (ME) ability. The use the Medkit, you must be a paladin, and to use Energy Transfer and Ammo Dump, you must be a Support.

Q: Other players get mad at me for completing objectives fast, but isn't the purpose of Assault to complete objectives as fast as possible?

A: Quickly completing objectives without telling other players about it is called "rushing". Sometimes, when you take or complete an objective, it could be a critical objective that spawns a huge horde of monsters which players may want to prepare first before completing it. Or, the certain area that is only accessible though that current objective has something important such as ammo, or adrenaline (The drain objective in NanoClean is one of the only shock rifle ammo spawns on the map, therefore, players may want to stock up on ammunition before completing the objective). It is also considered overall rude to simply take objective without asking your team first. Therefore, to avoid anger among players, you should always inform them that you're going to take an objective and if one player says to wait, do so.

Q: What is the AMRiL?

A: The AntiMonsterRocketLauncher is a modified version of the Onslaught AVRiL. It functions exactly like the AVRiL except that the rockets lock on to monsters rather than vehicles. Like the AVRiL, the AMRiL has a low ammo count so therefore, it's advised to reserve AMRiL rockets for the stronger monsters.

Q: How do I increase my weapon masteries?

A: To increase your weapon masteries, you must extensively use the weapons. Therefore, if you wish to level up your Rapid Fire Mastery, then attempt to use the Minigun, and Link Gun much more frequently.

Q: I'm a Support. Why can't I buy the Pupae as well as the Manta summon?

A: The Pupae and Manta summons are part of different summon branches. You can only purchase one branch so if you've purchased the Pupae summon, you cannot get the Manta summon.

Q: I purchased the Manta Summon, why can't I get the Gasbag summon? I have the adrenaline, Feral branch, and stat points to buy it.

A: The Gasbag is a Rank 2 summon, meaning that you must be Rank 2 to purchase it. To increase your rank, you must first reach a critical level (50, 100, 150, ect.) and then go to the Misc where you can then buy the Promote Ranking (ME)  skill and be able to purchase it.

Q: How do I level up really really fast?

A: There is no definite answer for it, but try the Survival TipsGeneral Informations (such as threat and ranks) , Support Character GuideBerserker Character Guide, and Paladin Character Guide sections for extra information.

Q: I keep dying all the time. How do I stop dying so often?

A: First thing you should look at is your class. Normally, Berserkers are very fragile and die far easier than the other classes. Than you should look at your resistances. If they are in the negatives, than it means that monsters are doing more damage than they usually should. After that, you should try leveling up your Health. If none of these solutions are working, than just stick with your team. When you have 3 teammates with you, you're 3 times less likely to get killed. Not only your team can take damage for you, but they can assist you in killing the tougher monsters which otherwise you couldn't do alone.

Q: How come I barely got any exp on any maps? I shoot a lot and kill many monsters, but get only like 1 exp point for the entire game.

A: Certain maps are meant for certain levels. To see which levels the map you're playing on was meant for, got to L>Personal Stats> Map Stats> (map you're playing on) > there should be a Recommended Levels. If you're not on the scale, than it could explain why you're barely getting any experience.
