Metroids are aliens from planet SR-388. These creatures have the unique ability to drain their prey of their vital energy, which they use to feed and grow. Unequipped with any kind of weapon, the Metroids in Monster Mash are still in a larva state and haven't developed this "life siphon" ability yet, but they can still bite you if you venture to close to one of them. Metroids are air-ground monsters. They basically hover 5-6 feet over the ground. Their movement and attack speed is average, and they don't hesitate to run after bigger prey. These larva are almost a one shoot kill with any weapon, especially with the Shock Rifle or the Lightning Gun.
