The Monster Adjustment Factor

Page history last edited by FrankyTheFly 7 months, 3 weeks ago

In Monster Mash the monsters are giving a level (like the players) by the system. This level adjusts the monster Damage Bonus and Damage Reduction. The level of the monster is therefore based on the lowest level player alive. The level of the monster is dynamic, meaning it can be adjust during a match. You will notice a change in the monster level by the hit sound of your shoot on the monsters. The higher the pitch, the lower the damage you done, the lower the pitch, the higher the damage you done.

Have in mind, the amount of XP you earn by damaging is based on the damage you do. This mean basically that high level monster (200+ lvl) has so much DR that shooting them barely gives XP (like 1 Xp per 10 second… or even less). High level monsters have also so much DB that they will kill you in almost one shot. Modifier effect based on damage to calculate the % of effect (like Vampiric or Energy) will also become inefficient on high level monsters.
