The MMTranslocator can lay small beacon in strategic area which you can translocate to if you are in danger of dying. The MMTranslocator can hold up to 5 beacons and is able to automaticaly resupply them over time. The latest iteration of the MMTranslocator features a remotely operated camera, exceptionally useful when scouting out areas of contention. It should be noted that while viewing the camera’s surveillance output, the user is effectively blind to their immediate surroundings.

The primary fire shoots the translocator beacons. If you pressed the primary fire once a beacon is launched or has 'arrived' at the intended (or, in some cases, unintended) location, you will reset it ('return' the beacon, basically 'removing' the original beacon and allowing the user to fire a new one). If the primary fire is pressed as you translocate, you will automatically switch back to the weapon you were using before you got out the translocator.
The secondary fire is used for translocation. If a beacon is in place pressing the secondary fire will teleport you to that location. If a player is standing on a live translocator beacon you will hear a "beep" sound by pressing the secondary fire indicating the translocation is impossible. This will also reset the translocator.
Modification in Monster Mash:
Normally a translocator beacon can be damaged by ennemy fire or by team member fire when they killed themselves. Translocating when your beacon is damaged will automaticaly kill you and pressing the primary fire will make a "beep" sound indicating the beacon cannot be reset. In Monster Mash, this feature have been removed to prevent death by translocation. The MMTranslocator is therefore indestructible and cannot be damaged.

Tips
You can use the translocator beacon as a "security camera" in games. If you want to see the camera on the Translocator, press the translocator selection key after you’ve thrown it. Then press secondary fire to actually translocate.
